Yes, a back up battery, which allows up to eight hours back up battery, is fitted as standard to all C.S.S intruder alarm systems.
Each C.S.S system is fitted with an eight hour back up battery, which allows the system to function fully in the even of a power loss.
A key holder is nominated third part that can attend your property in your absence in line with your local Police Service Policy. The nominated key holder must: have a telephone at their home address, must be capable of attending within twenty minutes of being notified, have their own transport to ensure prompt attendance.
If you have a monitored alarm system then yes you require key holders.
You must inform C.S.S in writing immediately you require any changes to be made.
If you do not have a monitored system you are entitled under this charge to one service visits per year and replacement component parts that have failed in normal use.

A wireless system consists of similar component parts to those used in a traditional 'hard wired' system but simply without the wiring. We at CSS would recommend a hard wired system but realise this is not always possible. We use only the best wire free materials available.

Yes. But we would not recommend this option. For example perhaps you leave your home for period of time and leave your Internet connection live. (Assuming your phone line is used for both the internet and your intruder alarm dialler) the dialler would not be able to function therefore your property would be left exposed.
A URN is a Unique Reference Number. This number is issued by the Police and is now a mandatory requirement for monitored systems.
We would advise that you upgrade your system to be monitored as you then have two distinct advantageous options, police response or key holder response. You choose which type of monitoring you require and CSS will upgrade and design your system accordingly.
Yes. The C.S.S alarm receiving centre (ARC) control room is manned 24 hours away 365 days a year by our highly trained staff with direct links to both the Police and Fire Service.
