Monitoring
CSS currently monitor over five thousand wireless and auto-dial burglar alarm systems and C.C.T.V. systems across Scotland from our purpose built Alarm receiving centre (ARC) constructed to comply with British Standard 5979. In the event of a break-in, an alarm signal is being received and CSS will notify the police services and key-holders. Fire alarm systems that signal to our ARC are handled and passed to the relevant fire response service.
CCTV images are also monitored via telephone links to protected sites via ISDN telephone lines high quality images are viewed by our control room staff to confirm if anything untoward is happening from the protected premises. We will take the appropriate action by talking live to the site via speakers on site, notify key-holders or if there is a robbery in progress record the images and notify the Police service.
CSS are probably the best placed company operating solely in Scotland to offer a genuine in house security solution to protect out customers businesses.
