CSS Attends Successful Sportsman’s Dinner 2024 at The Eagle Lodge

CSS proudly attended the annual Sportsman’s Dinner 2024 at The Eagle Lodge in Bishopbriggs on Thursday 16th May.

This fantastic charity event, hosted by owners Bubbles and Rahul, has been a staple in the local community for years, drawing around 150 local businesses and suppliers, including CSS, who have a longstanding relationship with The Eagle Lodge.

This year’s dinner aimed to raise essential funds for three important charities:
Alzheimers Scotland, Lodging House Mission (LHM) and Woodland View School in East Dunbartonshire.

The event’s success is a testament to the continued support from businesses like CSS, who have been active participants since the first dinner back in 2010.

The evening was expertly hosted by the ever-entertaining Tam Cowan, with guest speakers Frank McAvennie and Chick Young. Their witty one-liners and captivating stories had us all thoroughly entertained!

We’re thrilled to report that the event raised an impressive £9,900 through the auction and raffle, resulting in each charity receiving £3,300. This significant contribution will aid in the invaluable work these charities do within our community.
