CSS’s Generous Donation Brings Joy to Sense Scotland
At CSS, we believe in making a positive impact on the communities we serve.
That’s why we were delighted to recently donate to Sense Scotland, a charity close to our hearts, to help them purchase new garden furniture for a lovely space for staff and the people they support to enjoy. We were thrilled when they shared photos of their newly transformed garden, along with a heartfelt thank you.
Sense Scotland’s garden now boasts a beautiful table and chairs, a lovely parasol and a brand-new garden bench. These additions have created a charming, welcoming and comfortable outdoor space for both staff and users to enjoy.
Our timing also couldn’t have been better. With the support of CSS and the incredible assistance of Barclays volunteers, Sense Scotland managed to spruce up the garden just in time for their Summer Fayre on 24th June. The event was a tremendous success and everyone who attended had a wonderful time in the beautiful garden. Despite the weather taking a turn shortly after the fayre, the new garden furniture will continue to be a source of comfort and enjoyment for years to come.
It’s moments like these that remind us at CSS of the power of community and giving, and why we keep getting involved in helping people.

Sense Scotland are also holding their first-ever grand ball in November this year with A Night at the Museum, an exclusive event at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow. The event will feature top live band Big Vern n the Shootahs and global sensation, award- winning Elvis tribute act Johnny Lee Memphis. Businesses can buy a table for 10 people for £950 or individual attendees can buy a single ticket for £100, which includes dinner and excellent live entertainment. All money raised goes towards helping people with disabilities across the country who are supported by Sense Scotland.
We’re looking forward to getting our glad rags on for this event and further supporting this wonderful charity. We hope to see some of our business friends there too.
