CSS Tees Off for Charity Fundraising at the 2024 Moulsdale Foundation Golf Day
On Tuesday 18th June 2024, the CSS team was thrilled to participate in the 2024 Moulsdale Foundation Golf Day, held at the prestigious Carrick Golf Club. This stunning course on the shores of Loch Lomond provided an incredible backdrop for a day of camaraderie, competition and charity.
Representing CSS were Sandy McGregor, Joe McEnaney, Andrew Adam and Paul Connelly, and we all embraced the chance to support this vital cause. The event was great fun overall, and we were especially delighted to be warmly welcomed with a great selection of breakfast rolls to fuel us for the day ahead!
Before the official start time, we had access to the practice area to let us to fine-tune our swings and prepare for the 18 holes of golf that awaited us. We were even served refreshments throughout the day, keeping our spirits high and our energy levels up.
One of the highlights of the day was the delicious three-course meal served in the world-class Claret Jug restaurant. The meal was a perfect blend of excellent food and warm hospitality, providing the golfers with a much-needed rest after a morning on the green.
In addition to the golf, the event featured a charity raffle with excellent prizes and an online silent auction offering a range of fantastic items. The excitement continued with the prize-giving ceremony, where outstanding performances were noted and team photographs were taken to commemorate the day’s achievements.
The entry fee of £1,000 per team of four golfers was a small price to pay for the immense satisfaction of contributing to such deserving charities. The CSS team was proud to be part of this remarkable event, which not only allowed us to enjoy a day of golf (as always!) but also to support the superb work of the Moulsdale Foundation. Over £19,000 was raised for the Foundation during the event, a fantastic result!
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the organisers for putting together such a great event and to all the participants who made the day so memorable. The 2024 Moulsdale Foundation Golf Day wasn’t just about the game but also coming together as a community to make a meaningful impact.
