She’s smiling because I told her that because of all of the kind people that helped donate money to our Ukraine fundraiser for new generators, we have surpassed the target of £10,000 by £2,770.
I’ll be closing my gofundme page on Friday 3rd February 2023.
If there’s anyone that pledged (but forgot to contribute) there’s still time. I’d like to sincerely thank everyone that helped us to make life for the Ukrainian people a little more tolerable. We have had two generators delivered already. There are two on back order and the last two funded here will be sent as soon as the paperwork as well as transportation logistics join up.
Unfortunately, because it is a war zone getting things done is for the people assisting us frustratingly slow. The surplus money raised will be sent via Doctor Monika McNeill from Glasgow Caledonian University to forward on for humanitarian purposes to buy what the people need most urgently, if you don’t mind.
