Successful installation of new Cooper addressable fire system which enables utilisation of existing cabling where possible. Additional remote repeater panel installation incorporating smaller zone identification, i.e. two aisles throughout system compared to more limited coverage of previous fire system.

Outcome

New fully installed and programmed fire alarm incorporating point I.D. with improved control of roof vents and smoke management. This is supported by a comprehensive maintenance program delivered bi-annually with BAFE certification. This system is supported 24/7 through monitored links to the CSS LTD fully manned (ARC) alarm receiving centre based in Glasgow, along with monitoring for Intruder protection also supplied by CSS Ltd for this location.

Feedback

CSS provide intruder and fire detection at our distribution / cash & carry warehouse. We wanted to replace our old conventional fire panel which only gave limited detection. Our site is large and has evolved over the years with warehouse extensions added making this a rather complicated install.

CSS delivered a first class service providing a fully addressable system with additional detection and upgrades to our existing equipment such as roof vents. The engineers faced many challenges due to the nature of our business, as production could not be interrupted.

We are very pleased with the upgrade which came in on budget as promised and would recommend CSS.
