CSS win at the Herald Scottish Family Business Awards 2021
Connelly Security Systems was announced as winners of the Scottish Family Business of the Year (Large) award at the Herald Family Business Awards 2021 last week.
We are delighted with the award that pays tribute and is testament to the tight knit teams of dedicated staff throughout CSS branches in Glasgow, Ayr, Edinburgh, Whitburn and Stirling.
The awards were organised in association with Business Gateway.
Hugh Lightbody, chief officer of the National Unit at Business Gateway, said: “These awards highlight the health of the family business community across Scotland, and demonstrate that it really is the backbone of economic activity in this country.”
CSS Managing Director Paul Connelly is pictured with his three sons who work across the business, Lewis (19), Declan (27) and Callum (29), along with the event awards presenters.
Paul said, “this award means the world to our family business, which has been trading continuously for 35 years. It’s refreshing to me that we have a wealth of talent coming through the ranks to support our extensive client base. It’s the people working with us that have enabled us to not only win this award but also a best customer service award in 2019 too. Family values are at the heart of everything we do, and we thank the Herald for recognising what we are all about as a business.”
