The main priority, given it is a church building, was the protection, firstly, of people visiting the church since it is open all day. It was important that the church remains open to all visitors. The second priority was the protection of the building from theft and damage, not only due to potential material loss, but equally importantly is preventing the upset any vandalism would produce in the parishioners for whom the church is a sacred and special place.
CSS conducted a planning meeting to understand the church’s specific needs. A security system was proposed and tailored to address the concerns. The installation was carried out according to the agreed plan, with some adjustments during the process. Additional CCTV cameras were added to enhance security further.
The new security system provided an increased sense of safety for the church and its surroundings. The parish staff could now monitor the premises from the parish office, reducing the need for physical visits in case of suspicions. The installation was of high quality and minimally disruptive.
