Crime in Action – Masked Gang Caught Red Handed on CSS CCTV!
CSS – Connelly Security Systems – Keeping Scotland Protected – No one’s more qualified to keep you safe.
CSS engineer Michael Millar’s CCTV system picked up four masked individuals trying doors in Kilmarnock on Tuesday 28th January 2020 at 2am.
The masked gang were attempting to unlawfully enter potentially unlocked houses; however, they were disturbed before being able to ransack any homes.
The video clearly shows four masked people wandering around the Potteries estate in Kilmarnock, blatantly trying door handles. Unlucky for one of the masked perpetrators that he should try the door of a house fully equipped with a CSS CCTV system which caught the whole act on camera.
The offenders were disturbed in the act and fled the scene, with one slipping as he did so.
Speaking to the Kilmarnock Standard Michael said “ Waking up to find people like this coming around our homes in the dead of the night is scary.
“You should feel safe in your home and if your door wasn’t locked last night and came down the stairs to be greeted by four of these people, it could have had a horrible ending.
“As an estate we have pulled together to share information and CCTV and are doing this with other estates who are suffering similar issues.
“Sadly, these people think they can just take from hard-working residents who have earned what they have got in life.”
Only a few weeks before a masked gang were trying homes nearby. This brings to light the severity of break-ins and the importance of securing your home to keep family and possessions safe. CSS can design and install a CCTV system specific to your requirements to reduce the chance of your house falling victim to crime.
