CSS Apprentice Recognised in UK Awards
CSS apprentice Callen Logan placed third in the UK wide competition Engineers of Tomorrow and needless to say that we’re all extremely proud of his achievement.
The purpose of the Engineers of Tomorrow competition is to raise the profile of engineering apprenticeships and the opportunities that the engineering sector affords and to ‘help tackle the growing engineering skills gap and attract and retain the next generation of security and fire systems installers’. All participants must compete in regional heats and do well if they are to progress to the esteemed WorldSkills UK (WSUK) live competition. Once at the finals stage all competitors are required to undertake a timed live installation challenge which decides the winner, 2nd and 3rd place positions.
Once again, congratulations to Callen and with his skills in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems and dedication we’re sure that he will go on to become a leading light in the business.
