CSS Temperature Screening

As part of our commitment to helping keep our staff and visitors alike to our business premises across Scotland safe from spreading COVID-19, CSS has been installing these floor standing facial observing cameras.

The concept is to detect a higher than normal temperature above the eyes on the forehead. This measure is in addition to those safety measurements already in place for both office staff and our field-based engineers that visit our customers’ homes and businesses.

Important note to bear in mind

A thermal camera cannot determine if someone is sick or healthy or if a person has an infection or not or if someone has an infection of any kind. A diagnostic decision can only be rendered by a qualified medical professional.
