Congratulations to CSS Apprentices
At the recent New College Lanarkshire (NCL) apprentices internal skills competition CSS Apprentice Steven Flanigan won both the Fire and Intruder competitions and will be offered the opportunity to go to London IFSEC to compete in the Engineers of Tomorrow competition in June.

Corrie Stewart, Work Base Assessor at NCL, contacted us following their internal skills competition and had glowing praise for the CSS Apprentices. She said:
“We would like to say thank you for Paul Connelly attending our internal skills competition yesterday, you guys give us great support and we are very thankful for that.
“All three of your 3rd year students were fantastic and I personally am very proud of Drew, David and Steven they are all brilliant engineers and they have shown this during the competition drawing great attention from everyone that has attended.
“Also Steven Flanigan today blew everyone out of the water with winning 1st in the Fire Alarm competition and 1st in the Intruder competition making him the overall WINNER for today!!!! David also competed to a very high standard coming second on the Intruder today. Drew also impressed everyone yesterday.
“This is the second year a CSS apprentice has won the competition which shows CSS are producing great apprentices.
“All three of your 3rd year apprentices have done outstanding and are a credit to your company.”
