A message from our CEO Paul Connelly
Paul Connelly, Chief Executive officer, has recorded a message to customers of CSS, now Connelly Group Holdings.
CSS has had a busy year and are now entering into a new phase of development through the internal promotion of staff into more senior roles. Paul is looking forward to his 60th birthday this year so is considering the importance of succession planning as he steps away from full time management. Our experienced apprentices, engineers and supervisors are among staff members enjoying promotion to ensure a strong line of management. Alongside these changes the company will be divided into three main services to support our customers across Scotland and to provide continuity of service.
We have always been a family business and will always have family values at the heart of what we do.
Connelly Group Holdings will now be structured into CSS East, CSS West and CSS Installations, which will run centrally from our Graham Robertson business in Stirling. Callum Connelly will be Service Delivery Manager for the CSS West division, Gareth Stuart will take over CSS East and the Installations department will be managed by Declan Connelly.
As well as these changes we are also looking for new ways to adopt technology into our services. We currently have around 40,000 customers and are expanding our smart home and electrical services to provide more for families around Scotland. CSS looks after our customers, our people and our environment and we understanding the importance of complying with health and safety and taking our environmental responsibility seriously.
Some milestones we’ve hit this year include our success in becoming a Living Wage Employer, meaning we can better support our employees and local community. We are growing our apprenticeship scheme, bringing in more adult trainees to allow us to continue to create employment as well as support local services and charities. We continued our charity work and were delighted to see nearly £60,000 was raised on the night of the Business Beats Cancer event.
